4.2.1.         As part of the Services, we use cookies, anonymous identifiers, and additional tracking technologies for information security, operation of the site, tailoring the Services to your needs, displaying personalized information, and improving your user experience. A “cookie” is a small text file saved on your device when you visit the Website and is used, among other things, to collect information about your activity on the Website, store your preferences, and authenticate your identity. Certain cookies and additional tracking technologies may also be used to retrieve Personal Information, such as an IP address, in accordance with applicable law and this Privacy Policy.

4.2.2.         What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, mobile phone, or tablet) when browsing our Website. Cookies enable the site to recognize your device on repeat visits, store your preferences, and provide you with a more personalized and efficient user experience.

There are two main categories of cookies:

First-party cookies are issued directly by us to your computer or mobile device.

Third-party cookies are issued by a third party on our behalf. We use third-party cookies for functionality, performance/analytics, marketing, and social media. Third-party cookies are not under our control, and these third parties may change at any time their terms of use, the purposes for which cookies are used, and the like. See below for more information on how to manage these cookies.

Cookies may remain on your computer or mobile device for different periods. Some cookies are “session cookies”, meaning they exist only as long as your browser is open and are deleted automatically when the browser is closed. Other cookies are “permanent cookies”, meaning they are stored even after the browser is closed and can be used to recognize your computer when you reopen the browser and browse the internet.

4.2.3.         What types of cookies exist:

Essential cookies: cookies necessary for the basic functioning of the site, enabling navigation on the site and use of its core features. These cookies are stored for the duration of your visit to the site and deleted when the browser is closed.

Functional cookies: cookies that improve the user experience by remembering your preferences (such as language, text size) and enabling advanced features. These cookies are stored for a period of up to one year.

Performance and analytics cookies: cookies that help us understand how users act on the site, identify errors, and improve the site. These cookies are stored for a period of up to two years.

Marketing and advertising cookies: cookies used to personalize advertising content and to measure the effectiveness of advertising campaigns. These cookies are stored for a period of up to two years.

4.2.4.         Managing cookie preferences

Most browsers allow you to control cookies through the browser settings. You can:

Receive an alert before accepting cookies and choose whether to approve them.

Block cookies wholesale or selectively.

Delete existing cookies from your device.

To manage cookie preferences, please review the specific instructions for the browser you use:

Google Chrome: Menu (three dots) > Settings > Advanced > Privacy and security > Site settings > Cookies.

Mozilla Firefox: Menu > Preferences > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data.

Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and Website Data.

Microsoft Edge: Menu > Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Cookies.

4.2.5.         Consequences of blocking cookies

Blocking certain cookies may affect your browsing experience and the availability of some features on the Website. Blocking essential cookies may prevent the use of certain parts of the site. Blocking functional cookies may limit our ability to remember your preferences. Blocking performance cookies will prevent us from improving the site according to usage patterns. Blocking marketing cookies will prevent the display of personalized content but will not affect the basic functionality of the site.

4.2.6.         Third-party cookies

In addition to the cookies we operate directly as stated, the Website uses third-party cookies, such as analytics service providers like Google Analytics, advertising networks, social media platforms, and other service providers. These cookies may be used to collect statistical information, personalize advertising content, integrate external content (such as videos or social media posts), and improve the user experience on the Website.

Please note that the use of these cookies is subject to the privacy policies of those third parties, and we recommend reviewing the relevant policy of each third party for more information on how information is used.

Please note that blocking third-party cookies may affect some functions on the site, such as displaying external content or personalizing advertisements.

4.2.7.         Use of additional tracking technologies and third parties:

Beyond cookies, we may, sometimes together with third parties, use additional tracking technologies such as web beacons, pixels, and tags, which may be embedded in digital content, videos, or emails. These technologies enable us and external service providers to collect information from your device, including data regarding viewing certain content, recording the time and date of access, and the device’s IP address. The use of web beacons and pixels helps us analyze usage patterns of the Services and, together with cookies, display tailored content and advertisements. Some technologies are operated by third parties, such as advertisers or analytics providers, and are subject to those parties’ privacy policies. By using the Website, you consent to the storage of cookies, local storage technologies, web beacons, and additional information on your devices, as well as to our and third parties’ access to this information as detailed above.
